Mr Target

A custom, fourth-generation platform I’ve grown with the company that now runs the entire operation.

The situation

I’ve grown Mr Target’s technology in lockstep with the company itself, evolving the entire stack generation after generation as the business scaled. Today it runs on our fourth-generation platform (4.0): a custom system I’ve architected and re-architected at each stage of growth, so the storefront, operations, data, and infrastructure always stay a step ahead of where the company is headed next.

What I built

I consolidated the whole operation onto a single custom platform: a platform-agnostic React application backed by one central database (Supabase) and running on Azure. I unified data that had spread across the storefront, an internal app, and Zoho CRM into one synchronized source of truth, then rebuilt both the customer-facing storefront and the internal back office as a single, cohesive product. I expanded sales channels by getting the company selling on Amazon, with marketplace orders flowing straight into the same central system. True omnichannel, where the website and Amazon are one pipeline instead of two systems to reconcile. Payments run through Stripe; shipping integrates directly with USPS, FedEx, and Unishippers; and I built a full supply-chain system into the backend for inventory, purchasing, suppliers, and fulfillment.

The work wasn’t only software. As the operation scaled, I built the physical infrastructure up to enterprise grade: a UniFi network with segmented VLANs, proper firewalling, fiber, and failover internet. I standardized the office on HP Windows 11 laptops, centrally managed and secured through Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune, provisioned, deployed, and locked down remotely. And I moved the company’s phones onto Microsoft Teams voice. A secure, centrally managed IT backbone that matches the caliber of the software running on top of it.

Results

The outcome: Mr Target runs as one cohesive technology operation: unified data, real-time sync, a single source of truth across every sales channel, enterprise-grade security, and a genuinely excellent experience for customers and staff alike.
