AI your lawyers, auditors and security team can live with.
Your people are already using AI. The question is whether it happens on approved tools, with your data protected, and with a record you could show a client, an auditor or a judge.
Three ways to adopt AI, and most companies need two
Frontier models, governed. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Microsoft 365 Copilot on enterprise plans, with single sign-on, retention rules, audit logs and a clear policy about which data goes where. Fastest to value and the right answer for most knowledge work.
Private AI. Open-weight models running on hardware you own or in a private cloud tenancy you control. Nothing leaves your network, there is no per-token bill, and it keeps working when a vendor changes its terms. The right answer for privileged, regulated or high-volume work.
Hybrid, behind one gateway. One front door for every model, cloud and private, that applies the same identity, logging, redaction and routing rules everywhere. Sensitive prompts go to the private model, everything else goes to the best frontier model for the job.

- Discovery, about two weeks. Interviews with leadership, legal, security and the teams doing the work; an inventory of the AI already in use (there is always more than leadership thinks); the data classes you hold and the rules attached to them.
- Decision. A written recommendation: which frontier platform, whether private AI is justified, the governance layer, the policy, the budget and the first three use cases.
- Rollout. Pilot group, controls switched on before anyone gets access, training, then staged expansion with usage and risk reporting.
- Run. Model updates, new use cases, quarterly reviews of vendors and controls. As your fractional CTO or CIO, or handed to your team with documentation.
